Ian Worte - Destination Development Manager - Culinary Tourism Alliance

Ian leads destination development projects that grow culinary and agritourism across Canada and beyond. He’s helped design food and beverage trails, strategic plans, and national initiatives like the Culinary & Agritourism Action Plan. With a background in economic development and tourism innovation, Ian holds graduate degrees from the University of Waterloo and the University of Toronto.
Established in 2006, the Culinary Tourism Alliance is a national, membership-based not-for-profit organization. We work with our member communities to grow food tourism in their destinations through our destination development services, consumer marketing channels, and our various programs and events.
